The Woodland Creature Hat :: Knitting Pattern
The Woodland Creature Hat knitting pattern is officially finished and for sale! This hat is so cute - it reminds me of a fox or a squirrel and I added a pine tree design for extra woodland flair. It's a fun hat to wear all fall and winter, but I just had the thought that it would be great as part of a Halloween costume, too. I would definitely dress up as a squirrel!!
The hat is a quick knit in full bodied Aran 10 ply yarn and it's knit flat so it's a great beginner project - no scary double pointed needles! All you have to do is knit and purl.

Your addition of the woodland trees has made all the difference-just super touch. Must remember that for when we do handmade items, just a little extra embroidery can make a huge change in the look of a piece.
