{following the sun}

The cats and I are following the sun around the apartment today - we have big, golden patches of it in the living room right now.  It's nice to feel toasty warm!

I'm looking forward to dinner tonight because we're having leftover soup (made with barley, lentils, split peas, potatoes, carrots, and onion) with a cake I baked this afternoon and topped with my favorite chocolate-peanut butter frosting (from a recipe in this book).  I do love a good dinner.
